FastCalc by BRILONER & DiaLux
Plan your lighting here digitally & sustainably. From the comfort of your couch
How can the purchase of recessed luminaires become easier and more tangible? How can we at Briloner inspire you, inspire you and advise you in a sophisticated way? To answer these questions, the focus must not be on the product, but?
That's right, you. That's why, in cooperation with our partner DIAL, we have raised the Fastcalc lighting planning tool to a new level for you.
If you are currently looking for suitable recessed luminaires but don't know how many recessed spots you need, how they should be placed in the room and how much light you actually need in your room, then our lighting planning tool is just the right thing for you.
And this is how the magic happens: On the right of the product detail page you will find the FastCalc tool field; select it. FastCalc opens automatically in a new window. By the way, you can also find our light planning tool in stationary trade: please look for a QR code in the immediate vicinity of the product. Open the camera app of your smartphone and hold it on the QR code. A window will then also open in your browser; the technical data required for the calculation of your desired recessed luminaire. Decisive values such as the energy requirement and the light output can be viewed here at first glance. In the following step, you will be guided intuitively through the input of the data you require. In addition to the basic room selection, which is automatically quantified with our recommendation for the optimum illuminance, you enter the room geometry (LxWxH) and the reflection values resulting from wall, ceiling and floor colour.
You do not have to deal with complicated reflectance values, but can select visualised colour nuances via a colour spectrum. The preset illuminance levels are the result of years of lighting experience and the requirement to provide the room with solid basic lighting. FastCalc then uses the values entered and the lighting design data stored to calculate the optimum illumination for the room and quantifies this with the required light points and the resulting illuminance. In the interests of sustainability and transparency, you are also informed of the energy required.
In the last step, the entire calculation can be output in a PDF. This sketches the positioning of the calculated light points or your selected recessed luminaires in a floor plan and side view and displays the dimensions via a luminaire field definition list.
This PDF provides you with an overview that leaves no questions unanswered, either for the commissioned electrician or for your DIY installation.
With FastCalc, we at BRILONER have come a big step closer to our great goal of addressing the needs of our customers and making luminaire purchasing a competent, digital and sustainable experience. We hope you have fun and success planning your lighting project. If you still have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our service team, which will be happy to help you with any questions, ideas and assistance you may require.
